Bringing you all the must see looks from the red carpet at the MTV Music Award AKA the MAMAS, there were a gazillion celebrities in attendance of course lol and where celebrities are, they have got to be designer clothes for us to dish about with y'all.. so let's start shall we?
Starting off with the number 1 on our best dressed list. South African Entertainer Duma Ntando. She walked the red carpet In a gorgeous gown by scalop designs. The gown features a V shaped neckline, a mini cape and embellishments. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Guys for a lady with a bad ass low cut like she has and still look hot, we have a whole new respect for her. She styled her outfit with a purse in the same color as her dress and she kept her accessories minimal.
Blue
We absolutely loved this look by South African star, Blue. She rocked an embellished gold dress with a thigh high slit. She paired the dress with a gold strap heel. She was giving off a "cleopatra/Egyptian princess" vibe. The dress is also by Scalo design.
"Not quite There Yet" Looks
O.A.P Gbemi Olateru looking gorgeous in a short dress by April by Kunbi ,the dress is black, features a beaded bodice, has long see through sleeves and the sheer goes over the bodice just a little and it hugs her in all the right places.
We can see her lady curves literally popping through,that booty looks like it can hold up a glass of wine and not drop it, lol her make up is pretty, she looks fresh, fun and young ,it's basically all fun and games with this outfit until we get to her shoes...
Now Gbemi sells shoes like literally she has her very own shoe company ,where she sells amazing and killer shoes and of all the shoes, this is what she chooses to wear with her outfit??
The Mules on their own are a nice pair of shoes just not with this dress she has on, it completely doesn't compliment her dress, it's doing nothing for it. It looks like a case of when your mum reminds you to take extra shoes for her so she can switch to them when the real shoes she wore starts to hurt lol except hers are too high for that though, the dress itself is very edgy and she needed something a lot edgier to really bring the look to life ,so we'd be saying "Yass Hunnay Slayyy us right about now" not "Nah-uh Girl!!"... Pretty woman, pretty dress, wrong shoes, wrong occasion... for crying out loud you are at the MAMAS and those shoes are what you wear??... Bye girl!!!

Korede said in a snapchat video that "he was dressed this way to get us talking" and truly he did because the minute he posted that video people actually started talking and posting about it.
THE MONOTONE TWO PIECE SUIT: WHO WORE IT BETTER
So we got to see three guys rocking the monotone two piece suit trend , First we have Noble igwe wearing an orange colored Mai Atafo inspired suit paired with a white shirt, white pocket square and black shoes, he looks super cool and stylish as usual and we love it.
next is Falz... he wore a pink suit by SammiesCouture , that was paired with a black shirt and adorned with gold accessories by elite pierce and a black shoe that featured a gold plate on it, he also killed it. Falz is and has always been stylish , he is yet to disappoint us yet here on fashion police Nigeria
Lastly we have Vj and host Ehiz looking polished in a brown two piece suit also,he paired his look with a white shirt , dark glasses and black shoes. This suit on him is tailored to perfection, he looks really good and we have never really fallen in love with him style wise until now, we love it, head to toe perfection except for the shades though because it's night but there are usually lots of lights on them on the red carpet as well as flashes from the paparazzi so we can understand why he had them on.
So now all of these guys killed the two piece monotone trend which brings us to a dilemma, who rocked it better because we love em all so much that we can't pick... tell us what you think guys.. drop your comments.

Ycee
Next we have Ycee, first of all we are huge fans of Ycee and his music,but we still got to speak the truth cause that's why we are here. He looks a little confused with this outfit, he put different pieces together and not in a way that really balances up .
A trench coat and waist coat which ordinarily should work but the pants and shoes he added just throws everything off, we get that this is, his style but there's definitely a much more better way to put this look together.
Maybe if he actually wore the trench coat and had not hung it over his shoulder or ditched the trench coat altogether, this look might have made it into our "best dressed list" ...anyway not feeling this but we gotta give him Kudos for the bold outfit choice and fashion risk taking spirit!!!

Next we have Korede Bello whose outfit has caused a media frenzy and it's got us asking "what all the hulla baloo is about"?? he is basically just wearing a denim over all, definitely not something that hasn't been seen before, sure there is an instant resemblance to a mechanics outfit but that doesn't mean that it is a bad outfit.
Korede is known for his very funky and urban style and this is literally something you'd expect to see him in and people seem to be forgetting how young Korede is, he is young and very hip ,and this is how he ought to look, if someone within the age range of say D banj wore this then we'll be looking at him like he crazy too.

Honestly we don't think lots of people actually have an issue with this look most of them just saw that others were criticizing it and decided to join the train, he actually styled the look right, he paired it with the right boots and didn't add anything extra which would have ultimately ruined the entire outfit and make it all too much.
This is the MAMAS,the one place we get to see some of the craziest looks of the year because the MTV AWARDS are more of fun and not as constricting as the GRAMMYS so you can loosen up and just do you , not that we saying it's an excuse to look like a fool though anyway we done with this... NEXT!!!
