it's the first one guys, and yes they got a little backlash , apparently people think they were partial in their selection process of beauty brands and businesses that were recognized, we'll give them till the second edition to decide.
Anyways, to the first must see look at the event.
The host Of the event , Vimbai Mutinhiri. for her first look she stunned in a see through floral gown with a plunging neckline, she styled the look with some nude sandals, loose wave curls for her hair style. no jewelry in sight. the dress is by Abuja based designer DZYN. she looks sexy in this dress and we must say we are absolutely relieved to see her business in the front is packaged well #NoFallOut!!!!!!!
For her second look, she donned on this amazing gold gown by chidinmaObairi, the dress features a see through bodice and long sleeves, gorgeous look, but we felt there was more she could have done to bring this whole ensemble to life, now we noticed she wore no jewelries, we're guessing that's her thing , but a little stud earring would have gone a long way or picking another hairstyle for this look , that simple ponytail, just doesn't work for us. hey guys let us know your favorite of the two
Ezinne Alfa
Ezinne Alfa of Beauty in Lagos , looked stunning in a yellow dress from @indigoboutiques ,gorgeous gorgeous dress, like we always say guys, yellow is such a hard color to pull off especially for a light skinned lady like Ez. she styled the color with a gold strappy heels and a gold clutch. also another thing we loved was the pink lining underneath the short flared sleeves. it just didn't feel too much, just the right amount , simple .. simple and classy #yass gurl
DR. Vivian Oputa
ooh DR. Viv, we love!!! yass hunny!!!! The skin doctor stunned in the timeless black and white Combo from @lima_hewgi , the outfit features a white lace top, that has a puffy sleeves, a high neck and a strawberry print and black flared pants, she styled the look with a simple black purse. guys we went to her ig page and she literally lives for flared pants, she wears them with such class and sophistication and we love it !!! This look for us was just soooooo cute!!!!!! and very her age. The doctor with a swag!!!
We absolutely loved this red cape jumpsuit, this lovely lady is wearing. Unfortunately she slightly underwhelmed this look with her makeup or lack thereof and her hair style, I mean, of course less is more but this less did not equal this outfit. this is the kinda outfit you wanna pull out the big guns!!!!!! and just step on the red carpet like "hello, muva is here"!!! lol. These days beauty experts have come up with the "no makeup , makeup look" and of course there's the "nude makeup/glam" ., so these looks can totally work if the "in yo face" kinda makeup is not her thing.
Nnenna Okoye
Nnenna Okoye looked chic and simple yet lovely in the ''Gloria Pair'' dress by WanaSambo, we absolutely love this look, and ooh those sleeves. p.s we are loving all the exaggerated sleeve trend!! she styled this look with a gorgeous pair of pointy nude clear transparent pump and a red bag, love her long straight hair, like we said guys simple and chic!!!!
This look was ''almost there" for us,first thing that ruined this look; the cut out on the neckline of this dress is definitely not the best for her the shape of her boobs , a sweetheart neckline would have worked best , second thing are those blue shoes with the fringe detail. we absolutely love the shoes no doubt but we felt that these shoes work better with shorter garments like a short skirt. darling just a lil' tweaking here and there, and this look would have been puurfecttttt.

LORD!!! Have mercy !!! what is this???? we're trying to understand the inspiration behind this particular outfit , and to worsen the pain and the disappointment , she hosts a fashion show "fashion 101" . Honestly there are only three places you should be caught in this look , the spa (and not like you dressed from the house like this oh) , the pool and your house!!!!!!! we're just done.... a mess!!!!!
