Rita Dominic (btw she won the 'new era' award for her role in 'the meeting') looking splendid in a custom red couture dress by Lanre da silva-Ajayi which features embellishments and sequins,
she accessorized with gold drop earrings, a cocktail ring and a gold clutch bag, she opted for a sleek side side bun for her hair do, very chic and her makeup is just perfect; smokey eyes and red lipstick!!!! Genevieve Nnaji's in a custom creation by jewel by Lisa, her outfit consisted of a sequined cropped top and matching skirt which was intricately enveloped with white mesh, she opted for a ombre hairdo styled in an elegant chignon, she accessorized with diamond earrings silver cocktail ring, silver bracelet and a silver box clutch , this wasn't our favorite look of the night, we felt she could have dazzled us more, but sometimes less is more + she does look gorgeous and she pulled of this look well .
Been a while since we've seen mercy on the red carpet, so welcome back dear , she showed up in a flowing purple dress with a stylish shoulder , an assymetric cut and ruffles, she chose a up do hairstyle and light makeup, also accesorized with gold spiral shaped earrings, a gold bracelet and ring, a multicoloured embellished clutch.... Now her oufit wasnt so great and definitely not a glam red carpet look, first off it was too plain, lacked the wow factor, the bust area look a tad too tight for her and that shade of purple doesn't soothe her skin tone and what happened to her hair?? It doesn't look so great hunnay .. I know she can do better than this, she has done than this .... Although i must add that she looks good and rested post-baby and all ....

Darling kate henshaw looks absolutely beautiful in this mermaid inspired red lace dress with a sequined ankara sash and a high neck by needle point. Accessories included gold and black drop earrings, gold bracelets,gold and diamond ring, gold clutch accented with multi colored jewels, she went for a geisha-inspired updo and smokey eyes. We adore her look, red color flatters her skin.
Agbani Darego
Agbani Darego owned the red carpet with this gorgeous show-stopping teal flowing gown .... We love , love , love it!!!! Simple accesories; Drop earrings and gold clutch ,she opted for braids , she let them fall to her back and her makeup is not over the top, simple but yet lovely, she went for red lipstick, she's ageless and freaking hot!!!!
So errm , Rukky showed up in an embellished blush pink strapless dress with a tulle skirt,she's also wearing silver drop earrings and a purple and sparkling box clutch , i must commend her for this look , she either hired another stylist or just recently got a new one, cos her red carpet look has immensely improved . But i gotta add, we're not big fans of her side shaved style though , that hairdo is working against her seriously.
More Red carpet Glamour from the Amvca awards, it wasn't just about the fashion this time around, there was alot of different shades of colours on the red carpet, and Red definitely stood out a whole lot of the fashionistas stepped out to the awards in Red...we definitely love the colour Red, its exudes power and definitely draws attention easily....so which is your favourite Red ensemble???
There was also a lot of the color Blue, the stars came out to the Amvca awards in their large numbers so there was a really wide range of fashion and colors popping from one end to another, we have to give our celebrities props for their amazing looks on the red carpets we really didn't have cause to say "oh no" or scream "what were you thinking" well except for a few people who were a mess e.g *coughs* Sir Denrele Edun but back to the color blue, it dazzled on the red carpet....we loved loved seeing the men getting in on the color trends they ditched the norm of wearing safe colors like a lot less of black this time around and more men were wearing white and even blue as shown above..
The Same event, Same colors, same designer, same outfit.... thank God they had different shapes of Bow ties on,at the Amvca awards...winner and renowned Actor Desmond Elliot and Tv host and presenter Ebuka Obi Uchendu wore the exact same outfits by fashion Mogul and designer Ohimai Atafo who seemed to have had a lot of his designs flutter the red carpet that night, Singer Waje was also wearing one of his menswear inspired pieces alongside Susan peters who had her outfit custom designed for her.
We like the outfits on both men, impeccable styling and they both looked Dapper on the red carpet but we cant help but notice that Ebuka looks way better than Desmond in this category of #WhoWoreItBetter the tailoring of his pants are way better the suit fits him like a glove...he looks age appropriate while Desmond on the other hand honestly doesn't look bad himself but the tailoring on his pants are not perfect neither is the suit fitting and those glasses alongside this look doesn't quite help him, it instead aged him abit, he looks more like a pastor at an event than an entertainer or actor but all these flaws mentioned is us just being picky they both look great...so what do you guys think??? #WhoWoreItBetter
There were a lot of celebrities rocking the color white like these three men. Ramsey Noah, Melvin oduah and winner at the awards Elvis Chuks,they were rocking similar traditional inspired menswear outfits....we'll like to applaud melvin 0duah for his outfit he looks fashion forward, exudes simplicity and its obvious he isnt trying so hard but he managed to hit the perfect fine line between fashionable and simplicity.
Ramsey Noah on the other looks very stylish and he's designer or stylist wasn't mentioned so probably he put this piece together, which would be quite impressive love the length of his kaftan, the slit in the middle and the high neck, gives the outfit an attitude of fashion, lknice pairs of shoes on both men, him and Melvin
Now to the man with an award Mr Elvis chuks,sure he deserved his award but that doesnt give him a pass for this outfit. I mean look at his pants,this is a young man, Oh common now Mr Antar Laniyan was rocking a similar ensemble,an older man yet his pants were tailored way better than Elvis' his shoes were also wrong!!! could have easily been a respectable outfit but sadly those pants are just a mess!! #fashionfail
