So ,day 1, guests arriving for the early afternoon show/red carpet...
This look was definitely one of our favorites at the Lagos Fashion and design week (day 1). The owner of fashion design label DZYN, rocked one of her stunning gowns by her label at the event. Where do we begin guys?? the amazing sleeves or the gorgeous floral panel, we saw on her page that someone asked her if she was wearing "dolce & Gabbana"... And truly this outfit is in that class. We love the exaggerated sleeves and we can't wait to see what other outfits she'll dazzle us with during the fashion week.

Mimi Onalaja
Actress Mimi Onalaja , she went for an over sized black tee and a black and white jacket with a fringe hemline, guys this look is such a breath of fresh air,simple and cute, what we loved most about her look guys were her shoes, how unpredictable and just unassuming, we love the contrast of colors between her shoes and her orange lippie, just gorg!
Another favorite is fashion blogger Akin Faminu. We absolutely love his look guys, its a fashion show so we expect so see,lots of amazing and out of the box outfits. We always love to see how people combine African fabrics with English wear, the combo is truly amazing.

Fashion blogger maryam Daisy and founder of bloggerpoint.com , was serving some major fashion goals in this gorgeous outfit by Belois couture, she styled the look with black strap heels and some gorgeous shades by @dapmod, again guys, it's fashion week so this is what we expect, love the creativity behind this look.
Fashion designer and ceo of vonne couture, Yvonne Nwosu, stepped out for the fashion week in a very popular African traditional style "iro and buba", the style was in a colorful orange and blue floral print fabric, she styled this look with a cute pair of orange sneakers, now at first when we saw this look, we were like nah! Fashion fail!
But we went on her ig page and saw a side slit, and we thought OK, this doesnt look that bad and this is fashion week we expect edgy outfits, and fashion risks but! We felt if the iro was shorter or if she had worn a different type of sneakers, maybe this look would have worked better. Overall, we'd say this wasn't bad, she took a risk and whether it paid off or nah we would let you guys decide.

Now as always, during fashion week, we get to see a lot of models arriving at the occasion, looking casual and laid back, so it's easy for them to switch their outfits for the runway ,so we assume that's the group this bunch falls into but not with standing they all look very simple yet trendy
We couldn't help but wonder what was going on here, with this guy's outfit now we get that its fashion week and all but!!! *sigh* fuchsia pink shorts I mean really dude ... Beht why??? The color is just too feminine, asides that he looks good.
More outrageous looks at the event..
Yellow on yellow on yellow.... What is this? The color is too strong a hue to have it paired up this way even if there was some beauty behind this look, the color has ruined the prospects of that. there were other people who did the same colour head to toe thing but with colors that can be maneuvered ,this was a fail.
Definitely not the right outfit for his body type. Those pencil pants are a big "fail".. as well as the neckline Of his outfit, then to now tuck in that mess... Ugh!!!
