I think we can all agree that Rekana is a very pretty lady, she looked sooo stunning in a floral print mermaid inspired gown ,it features a high neck and a cut-out , her hair has never looked better and her makeup just gorgeous.
Rita was Looking elegant in a strapless black gown by Iconic invanity , which features a peplum detail, lace and sequins ,loving her sleek side bun, it gave her look more class and would y'all look at her well toned arms, she looks great guys, for her makeup she went for smokey eyes and nude lips.
we have the ever sexy Joselyn Dumas(upper middle) in a black sequined sheer panel dress with peplum detail,she accessorized with gold bracelets, a blue and gold ring and a gold clutch, opting for a bob hair cut with fringe she finished off her look with a red lipstick and a gorgeous smile. we thought this dress did her curves justice.
she was Looking stunning in a custom velvet 8piece mermaid dress by Byge collections, we love how the dress fits her body so well, she styled her braid in side bun and finished off her look with a red lipstick, we loved her pose too.
Ibinabo Fiberisima
First we just wanna say this woman is an ageless beauty, we love how she keeps everything together, about her outfit, we were not really fans of her outfit but we thought it looked good on her , loved the train too , red definitely compliments her skin tone.
NOW TO THE MEN
Nollywood legendary actor, RMD ,was in a black tuxedo, red bow-tie and a white shirt with white pocket square and a handsome pair of white and black wingtips , now this is how celebrities and guests should look like on the red carpet of an award show, all suited up with a bow-tie, we loved it.
we thought he looked cool, in the white blazer with black lapels, styled with a white shirt , black bow-tie and black pants , again bow-tie is so the way to go on the red carpet for award nights.
Loved desmond's outfit too, he's a really good looking guy and he definitely looks cool here
Kanayo O kanayo
He has never looked better, that double breasted suit was a serious game changer, he definitely stood out in this outfit and even though he wasn't wearing a bow-tie, he still looked wickedly handsome, the blue and white ensemble was definitely a good choice.
THE Not so great looks.
Clarion was seen in a one hand black gown with a sweet heart neckline, with an embellished sheer sleeve and a thigh high slit. This dress wasn't age appropriate, and would have been better if it had another sleeve, also the slit was way too high for her and although she has appropriate amount of cleavage showing and quite frankly some women her age don't have their cleavages looking quite put together and still pretty like hers , the only problem is her uneven skin tone around her chest area, lots of people have issues like this but it can be covered up with makeup especially if you're gonna walk the red carpet in a dress with a sweetheart neckline. Apart from all these, her hair and makeup looks fab and she's still looking radiant + congratulations on her win.
oh Bel, looks as if your stylist disappointed you by not bringing the outfit you were supposed to wear on time, and then you chose to wear this , if you had worn a pantsuit instead of shorts and maybe in a better color, red or blue, but no you decided to wear a suit and shorts in the most horrible of colors, dull looking colors as a matter of fact, and now paired it with red maryjane pumps, black would have been better ,if this was another occasion we would have let it slide but it's the AMAA's, hello! And please get rid of that hair, or change the color. it is HIDEOUS!
ivie what happuned biko ???? she walked the red carpet in a one hand asymmetric hem dress, *sigh* where do we even begin?? if you're gonna go for a one hand dress with long sleeves , it should at least look like the one clarion chukwurah has on or it should have been strapless, cos the Square neckline she has on, don't work for one hand dresses, either they come in two hands or not at all and that asymmetric hem just doesn't work for us, and the ugly shoes, my God!!! don't this celebrities have good managers that at least arrange for good stylists to help them look their best on the red carpet??? Please do better next time.
Barbie gurl , what were you thinking??? while we liked the part of the dress from her waist upward ,the tulle skirt was a disaster, it looks like a wedding dress that came in red or like a girl you hire to play princess for your 4 year old daughters birthday party, now, guys imagine the part from her waist upwards was the full dress with a mermaid style, that would have been puurfect!!! We kept wondering how she sat down at the event, how she even walked. the hem line of the dress was a disaster!!, this dress belongs to the run way, where we first saw it initially and maybe should be seen at a fashion event.
Where exactly did aboki think he was??? i mean, if you're gonna wear baban riga (hausa name for agbada) at least wear a good looking one , with a nice cap and shoes, and good looking pants, sheesh!! what is with this people!!!
some girl in a sash that says "top model of the world" , when we saw this we just couldn't stop laughing,i mean who come up with such horrible , ridiculous prases that are supposed to pass as titles!!!! that dress she's wearing is as confused as the phrase on that sash, the dress isn't age appropriate, it makes her look a little bit older than her real age also it doesn't quite fit her body and please next time you're going for a red carpet event, leave that sash at home and come with some hair next time or at least a better looking hair cut!!!!
While we love that she knows how to dress for her body and size , however the top she chose to wear on what seems like a wrap skirt didn't quite work well for us, maybe if she had gone with a black chiffon top or cream even white , it would have come out looking great. Still , we love her hair do.
Oh Emmah get rid of that white dye or whatever that is at the center of your hair or is it a burn mark or something, whatever it is , get rid of it. that outfit is best suited for a charity event.
we loved the dress actually and even the high neck works for me , however, can't seem to figure out what is up with her boobs,it doesn't look put together almost as if she's not wearing bra, which if she was or if everything was pulled together tight, this dress would have come out looking better than it's looking now, and she always makes this mistake almost every time she goes for an event, well she does need a new styling team
Now, all white errthing ain't bad, please this year 2014 we don't want to see , white suit, white trouser, white shirt, white belt, white shoes and white glasses again, hello!!! Angel Michael, lol... Tone it down a bit, wear a black shoe, loose the glasses, or put on a black belt. 'Nuff said!!!
