On sunday 13th july actress Nkiru Sylvanus premiered her movie " The Voice ",
The event happened at the oriental hotel in Lagos, and as always we'll bring you guys must-see looks and our verdict! we have to say though the red carpet of this event was filled with a lot of horrible and poor outfit choices, you can check the remaining photos here
Nkiru Sylvanus, (we wonder where she has been though) ,she donned a black sequined gown with silver detailing around the waist, It also had a sheer layer in the upper part of the dress,she looks elegant and she oozes the aura of a star just by staring at her in that form fitting dress...just gorg!!....
the dashing actor, Kenneth Okolie arrived in an amazing blue blazer, he wore a white shirt inside paired with grey pants and a pair of amazing shiny brown shoes made by @koladeavantgarde , he accessorized with a pocket square, a gold wrist watch and his smile, he looks dapper and red carpet worthy..only problem with this look is his pants, they needed to be tailored to fit him a bit more properly especially at the bottom part and we don't mean tailor to becoming like form fitting skiny jeans cause we know alot of men get scared to try the whole skinny jeans or pants ish and also the colour of his pants is throwing people off a bit, but pairing these nude colours on bright coloured suits or blazers are actually right on trend....
pretty Actress Chika Ike wore a fiery red long sleeved gown with a slit on the side, the gown has cut outs on her sleeves,waist line and across her and her décolletage all covered in sheer material to keep it all decent and classy. Her hair and makeup is just amazing, she accessoried with a choker, a silver clutch purse and sexy silver high heeled strappy sandals.
now to the part we didn't like ....*sighs* her bra...who in the world advised her to use a black bra, or rather did she ask for a professional help??? it just spoils the whole idea behind this amazing gown, they used red sheer materials to cover up the cut outs and not black for a reason she would have been flawless in this number except for the whole black bra situation.
there are only a few ways this would have worked out perfectly, if she had not worn this dress at all, cos clearly she doesn't know dresses like this work. then of course she could have gone bra-less but because of the way the cut-out goes across her boobs, a nip-slip is likely to happen, that's were silicone nipple covers would have come in, heck!!!! we could have taken a red bra, lol!!!
Anita Joseph ,She thinks she's wearing this fashionable and edgy outfit in her mind but honey I am sorry to tell you that this whole outfit is a mess, there is too much going on here with the irregular slit on the dress that reveals her thighs,her shoes,her nails,those braids, the colour of the braids, her choker and her make up is not helping,her tattoo just worsens things,
Sorry but this is horrible, she looks really trashy , styling her braids in an up do, would have made a whole world of difference. This is just sad, feels like she dressed up in the dark because we cannot explain how she put all of this messyness together someone get that girl a stylist Asap but first give her a chair to sit her butt down *smh*
