Timi dakolo and his wife busola walked the red carpet, although not dressed according to the theme, thankfully they didn't. Timi looked stylish in a blue suit, white shirt and black pants styled with black shiny shoes and black nerd glasses.

Well these three ladies tried to dress according to the theme, they obviously missed the mark , themed parties like this, its best you consult a stylist, or search through a lookbook.

The first lady tried to rock a pink camo top , a red bandanna , blue jeans skirt and brown boots, so this style was everywhere in the 90's , where she got it  wrong, was the crop top, as every one knows, cropped tops are meant for ladies with flat tummies, toned abs/hot bods. She did justice in the hair department but maybe she should have worn a pink bandanna and instead of brown boots, black would have been better. Even though back in the days, color rioting was at it's peak.

The lady in the middle tried to go for a huge fro, which was really popular both in the 80's & in the 90's. The fro looks a bit too huge and lacking shape. We can manage the grey short dress with embellishments but no! We wont take the silver pumps, court shoes and peep toes were all the rave in the 90's .

We absolutely have no words for the last lady, maybe instead of wearing that horrible leather outfit , she could have gone for a fungarees, the shoes would have looked better if it didn't appear like her toes couldn't get in. Her hair style was definitely spot on 90's.
Please and please , if you must for a themed party, be sure to totally nail it, or don't even bother trying.
