So the Social Media Awards Africa for 2014 recently happened and here are a few look we just couldn't miss.
First we have Simphiwe Dana, she's got this african printed outfit vibe going on , as the short ball dress trend, in her case the gown features sheer lacing, sleeves and neckline of the dress, she wore edgy ankle heels which is actually okay but with her hair and the shoes and the sheer on the dress, there is too much going on, almost feel like she should have on one of those long black magician hats and hold a cane and be on broadway performing then this would make total sense but in all fairness this is not like a bad look and its her style, she's loud, bold,artsy and creative with her looks.
Next we have this lady whose name sadly we couldn't find but she definitely is someone very cool and important, she is wearing this mermaid inspired long yellow zipper skirt with a middle slit which allows it to spread out at the hem,it also got a little train, her hair and make up is gorg but her African printed designed crop top isn't really working for us especially with those ruffles, makes it look a lot messy and its not just the right match for that skirt honestly.
Lastly We have Kemi Olunloyo she also is wearing AFRICA!! lol these three *smh* anyways when we first saw this we were like "Oh No She Didn't" but then researched her and realized she's actually not a kid this is a grown woman so she gets a pass for this look because this just looks like what people wear to church for weekly services and not to a red carpet award affiliated with not just Nigeria but Africa
